Casey Saltness has been appraising real estate since 2016, with a current practice focused on residential properties throughout the Denver metropolitan area and Colorado mountain communities. Before entering the appraisal profession, Casey worked in information technology in Black Hawk and Central City, Colorado, serving the gaming industry. Seeking a career that would allow him to work independently and build his own business, he transitioned into real estate appraisal. Casey began his appraisal career with a commercial appraisal firm in Denver before shifting his focus to residential appraisal and establishing Saltness Real Estate Services as an independent practice. His appraisal work includes conventional residential properties as well as mountain, rural, resort, custom, condominium, and other properties where location, site characteristics, access, design, utility, or limited comparable data may require additional market research and analysis. Casey holds a college degree from the University of North Dakota and has operated Saltness Real Estate Services as an independent residential appraisal practice since transitioning to residential appraisal.
